The staff, without any exception, was most welcoming and attentive to requests. We'd like to mention in particular Mrs Monica Rial and Mrs Sarina Nyffenegger for helping with the luggage, recommending on the rooms, follow-up on demands. Although this is a 3 Star hotel, and although the lobby is a bit old and short on space with the dining room smell unfortunatley distributing through the hotel, the cleanliness of the room (delux superiour), modern bathroom, and the excellent location with everything in walking distance and access to the tram, make up for possible shortcomings. (1) The hotel is located on a street where sometimes very noisy cars, which are rented on an hourly basis, circulate around, producing noise during nighttime. (2) On a Friday morning (And potentially also on Tuesday), the garbage bins are collected in the steets. The noise from the truck in tehs treet lasts for more than ten minutes and wioll wake you up at 6:30 am. We will return to the hotel due to its excellent location in Zurich, friendly welcome, but will take earplugs at night because of a noisy street traffic

Really lovely hotel in a convenient location near the main railway station. Very friendly staff. Large comfortable room for our family of three. Situated close to cafes and a supermarket, hotel has two e-bikes that guests can borrow. Bathroom was very large with a great shower.

I did a lot of research prior to booking and I couldn't be happier with my choice of City Hotel. The front desk staff were so friendly and available to help with anything i needed. In town for business, I had a single economy room for 5 nights, its perfect for one person. The bed and bedding was so comfortable, the room and bathroom were small and immaculate. Both the main train station and old town attractions were a lovely and leisurely 10 minute walk away. Wifi, ac, water pressure all worked great. I highly recommend this for the solo travel or a couple.

The location near the station and old town is very good. Staff is helpful. The rooms were small but comfortable and clean. There is a buffet breakfast available. A convenient hotel for a short stay in Zurich since it’s easy to move around from here.

Very comfortable hotel A large and excellent bed, decent sized room and bathroom. Big television too. A great location a few minutes from Bahnhofstrasse and the station. Didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast but a friend says it was good.
